All the pieces, together.
We find the products, speak to suppliers,
build the brand and connect the business.
You can spend weeks, even months, searching for the right business idea. If you know you want more ownership over your working life but aren’t sure what to sell or where to begin, that’s where Vello comes in.
We take on the research, supplier conversations and agreed implementation, turning an ambition into a business prepared for launch. You make the key decisions, with a clear plan and support around you.
Most Vello builds use a dropshipping model. The supplier holds the products and dispatches each order, so you can launch without buying stock upfront. If the business grows, you can choose to hold stock to seek better buying terms and stronger margins.
You don’t have to arrive with a passion for one particular category. We can start with your goals and use evidence to compare opportunities: customer demand, competition, margins, fulfilment and the work involved.
We look for evergreen products with potential demand throughout the year. We examine seasonality, repeatable customer needs and the opportunity to serve buyers across the UK, checking delivery coverage and costs.
We draw on experience working with manufacturers and distributors to ask the practical questions, progress account applications and understand the terms. We assess the opportunity before committing to the build.
Our research framework helps us test assumptions and compare opportunities. It cannot guarantee consistent sales; demand, acquisition costs and customer response still need to be tested in the market.
Your handover includes a 12-month marketing plan tailored to your business: proposed channels, content themes, campaigns, budget assumptions and review points.
Test the initial offer and channels, gather customer feedback and review the early numbers. Your three included monthly aftercare reviews help you prioritise the next steps.
Use evidence to improve product pages, messaging and customer experience. Reallocate testing budgets where justified, rather than increasing spend automatically.
Assess relevant bundles, complementary products, retention activity or new audiences, based on demand, available cash and operational capacity.
Review performance against the original assumptions, account for seasonal patterns and set the priorities and budget for the next year.
For three months after handover, we stay involved through scheduled reviews, guidance on the original website and fixes to the agreed build. We review progress, identify issues and offer practical advice within your agreed support allowance.
Want us in your corner for longer? Optional support at £500 per month includes agreed website support, a monthly business review and consultancy, with an implementation allowance set in advance.
The 12-month plan is included; 12 months of campaign delivery or advertising management are not. After handover, you run the business, with further execution scoped separately where needed.
Tell us what you want from your working life. We will explain how Vello could turn that ambition into a researched, launch-ready business.
Finding products. Talking to distributors. Figuring out the margins. Connecting the moving parts. That’s the work we take on—so you can focus on the business you want to own.
We explore your interests, research the market and shape a business with a clear customer and a reason to exist.
We find suitable products, approach distributors and help arrange trade accounts. Real conversations, not a list of links left for you to chase.
A name, an identity and a storefront that belong together. We connect the practical details so the business looks good and makes sense.
Campaigns prepared. Systems tested. You get the assets, accounts and know-how to take the next step—with structured aftercare.
Try a different personality. Explore the storefront. See how an idea becomes a connected brand. This little studio is yours to play with.
Concept demonstration only. Not a client business or evidence of sales.
Everyday things. Extraordinary feeling.
Illustrative concepts only. No client results or sales are implied.
We look at what you want to earn each month, the ongoing operating budget you are comfortable with and the time you can give the business. Then we research the products, customers and suppliers that could make the numbers work.
These figures are the target selling price of the product or order your new business could sell. They are not Vello's fee for building your business.
We normally research products customers can consider and buy online without a long sales process. The price needs to leave enough room for product cost, delivery, marketing, returns and profit.
For a business to business model, we can research equipment and other higher value products with larger average orders. These sales usually involve quotations, calls, follow up and sometimes installation or ongoing service.
We test demand, margins, competition, UK distribution and the support each product needs before recommending a direction. These are research ranges, not guaranteed selling prices or results.
Sales, business profit and personal take-home pay are different. We clarify your target before modelling how many orders, how much traffic and what marketing budget it might require.
We account for product cost, delivery, payment fees, customer acquisition and expected returns, then consider fixed costs. We test less optimistic scenarios as well as the preferred plan.
For the standard dropshipping route, we check where the supplier holds the stock, who dispatches it, lead times, tracking and returns arrangements. A UK website or office does not necessarily mean UK-held stock.
We can research either route, including higher-value products outside our usual range. Choose a route below to explore what ownership involves.
A consumer business can centre on an online store, with product information, delivery clarity and helpful support giving people confidence to buy. Bedroom furniture is one example.
We assess demand, acquisition costs, order value and fulfilment. Customer enquiries, delivery issues and returns still need a workable process and your time.
Examples from our founder’s previous work show why we look at both profit per order and the work needed to support it.
Reported product margins were around 30–35%. Using 30% as gross margin on sales gives £21,000–£25,200 gross profit per month.
Reported monthly overheads were approximately £4,500. Subtracting those gives £16,500–£20,700 before tax and any advertising, delivery, servicing, financing, owner-pay or other costs not already included.
This is arithmetic from approximate reported figures, not verified net profit or take-home income. The calculation treats margin as a percentage of sales, not markup. The historical VAT basis and full cost allocation were not supplied.
The lesson: a valuable order needs a dependable sales and service operation behind it.
At a reported 25% product margin, treated as gross margin on sales, this gives £5,625 gross profit per month before other costs.
The calculation assumes each of the approximately 25 monthly sales was one £900 order. Advertising, delivery, returns and overhead figures were not supplied, so net profit cannot be calculated from this example.
The lesson: a focused range can produce meaningful gross profit without needing hundreds of orders.
Approximate historical figures supplied by Vello’s founder, not independently verified. These are examples of prior experience, not Vello client performance claims, audited results or predictions of what your business will earn.
You do not need a finished idea. Share your goals, budget and available time, and we will explain what a Vello build could look like for you.
Your accounts, your original brand assets, your business documents. No unnecessary lock-in. Third-party software retains its own licences.
We build foundations and explain risks. No promises of passive income, guaranteed sales or overnight success.
Useful strategy, supplier conversations and careful implementation. We manage the agreed build, not just its appearance.
Clear training and a practical handover. You approve key decisions and learn to operate what we’ve built together.
Request a no-pressure callback. We will listen to what you want, answer your questions and explain the next step.
One complete build. A planned 30-day journey. Three months of structured support as you find your feet.
Your agreed scope sets the initial product count, revisions and support allowance. Timing starts after onboarding and depends on timely approvals and supplier or platform readiness.
£2,000 to begin. £2,000 before handover.
The £4,000 covers the agreed work and setup needed to hand over a launch-ready business. Our standard model is dropshipping, so you do not normally need to buy stock upfront. Ongoing monthly operating costs and optional advertising media spend are separate.
Every penny goes directly to ads in your account. Initial activation and monitoring before handover included, once the store is ready and ads approved. Results aren’t guaranteed.
Optional website support, monthly business review and guidance on practical AI improvements. Implementation allowance agreed in advance; larger projects and software costs quoted separately.
No. We can start with your interests, experience, time and budget, then research a suitable direction together. You approve the concept before the main build.
Yes. Research, outreach and help with trade-account applications are part of the agreed scope. We predominantly build dropshipping businesses, where the supplier holds and dispatches the stock. Acceptance and commercial terms remain the supplier’s decision.
Usually, no. Our standard build is based around dropshipping, so the supplier holds the products and dispatches orders to your customers. You can choose to purchase stock later if the opportunity supports it, which may improve your buying price and profit margin but also introduces storage and inventory risk.
No. We handle the agreed setup, but you make key decisions and run the business after handover. You will need time and an ongoing operating budget for the website, marketing, customer service and other monthly costs. Sales and profitability are not guaranteed.
A scheduled review each month for three months, guidance on the original website and fixes to the agreed build. Your proposal states support hours and response times. New features, ongoing ad management and daily operations are separate.
We can coordinate guidance and introductions to an appropriate accountant or formation provider. Legal structure, registration, tax and compliance responsibilities should be confirmed with the relevant professional.
The agreed original brand assets, website work and documentation are handed over after payment, with client-owned accounts wherever possible. Software, themes, fonts and other third-party assets remain subject to their licences.
Maybe you are tired of dreading Monday. Maybe you want more time with your family, more freedom over where you work, or the chance to build wealth for yourself instead of somebody else.
You do not need the perfect idea. You need the ambition to change something and the willingness to build it properly.
